Men’s soccer
Carl Sandburg posted back-to-back ties in men’s soccer, moving to an overall record of 3-2-2.
Sandburg and Prairie State fought to a scoreless draw in Chicago Heights Sept. 14.
On Sept. 11, the Chargers went to Elgin and came away with a 3-3 tie. Elgin’s Adrian Diaz scored the game-tying goal in the 90th minute. Elgin has been receiving votes in NJCAA Division II rankings.

Next up for Sandburg is a noon match Sept. 21 at Harper.
Women’s golf
Sandburg’s women’s golf placed fifth in a 10-team field at the Fighting Scot Fall Invite in Monmouth Sept. 13-14.
Sandburg scored 720 points; Coe (Iowa) won the event with 635 points.
Jessica Schultz placed 18th overall.
