GALESBURG, Ill. (Oct. 21, 2025) — The City of Galesburg is notifying the public of two upcoming projects that will result in temporary road closures.
McClure Street: Between Main and McKnight streets, the Galesburg Forestry Department will close the roadway Wednesday, Oct. 22, from about 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for tree removal, weather permitting.
West Dayton Street: Between Academy and West streets, Bedwell Tree Service will close the roadway Thursday, Oct. 23, from about 8:30 a.m. to noon for tree removal, weather permitting.
