- Michael J. VanWinkle, 48, Galesburg — Pleaded guilty to Class 2 felony aggravated domestic battery/strangulation; sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days credit and 18 months probation. Charges of Class 4 felony domestic battery with prior conviction (two counts), misdemeanor aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal damage to property under $500, and misdemeanor theft under $500 dismissed.
