GALESBURG — Families are invited to downtown Galesburg on Saturday, Oct. 25, for the annual Treat Street event, featuring trick-or-treating, costumes and community spirit.

Children can trick-or-treat from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. along Main Street. Bags and maps will be available at the intersections of Main and Cherry streets and Main and Seminary streets, or families may bring their own.

Main Street will be closed between Seminary Street and the Square from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to allow for safe walking during the event.

The Downtown Community Partnership of Galesburg thanked local businesses and organizations for participating, and the City of Galesburg for helping with street closures. The D.C.P. works to connect small businesses, local organizations and residents to foster a vibrant downtown.
