New charges
Tuesday, Sept. 2
- Nathaniel C. Allen, 40, Galesburg, was charged with two counts of Class 2 felony aggravated DUI; three counts of Class 4 felony aggravated DUI; two counts of misdemeanor DUI/alcohol and driving on a revoked license.
- Justin M. Caves, 46, Galesburg, was charged with Class 4 felony domestic battery with prior conviction.
- Andrew J. Damse-Grindle, 31, Galesburg, was charged with DUI/alcohol, DUI/BAC .08 and a minor traffic charge.
- Danita P. Evans, 62, Knoxville, was charged with misdemeanor confining an animal in a vehicle.
- Spencer M. Fletcher, 31, Galesburg, was charged with misdemeanor resisting an officer.
- Dalton M. Heathcoat, 27, Creve Coeur, was charged with misdemeanor DUI/alcohol, DUI/BAC .08 and leaving the scene of an accident; and two minor traffic charges.
- Ryan E. Sullivan, 39, Galesburg, was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass.
- Austin D. Sundberg, 25, Galesburg, was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery/physical contact.
- Jason R. Tiedemann, 32, Galesburg, was charged with Class 2 felony failure to report a crash with injury; Class 3 felony aggravated battery with a deadly weapon; and misdemeanor reckless driving.
Wednesday, Sept. 3
- Marcus W. Forshee, 38, Henderson Grove, was charged with Class 2 felony burglary; Class 3 felony meth possession under 5 grams; and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
- George A. Hamblen, 46, Abingdon, was charged with Class 3 felony aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery in a public place.
- Jewel B. Leiby, 34, Galesburg, was charged with misdemeanor resisting an officer and DUI/alcohol.
- Johnny L. Mixon, 64, Galesburg, was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass.
Thursday, Sept. 4
- Andrew S. Broadway, 29, Galesburg, was charged with Class 4 felony retail theft under $300 with prior conviction.
- April N. Flynn, 36, Galesburg, was charged with Class 4 felony retail theft under $300 with prior conviction.
- David L. Kerner, 67, Galesburg, was charged with Class 3 felony meth possession under 5 grams.
- Carolina Razo, 45, Knoxville, was charged with Class 3 felony retail theft over $300.
- Andrew M. Wallace, 35, Galesburg, was charged with Class 3 felony aggravated battery in a public place and misdemeanor obstructing identification.
Friday, Sept. 5
- Linetta A. Brooks, 36, Chicago, was charged with Class 1 felony bringing a controlled substance into a penal institution and Class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance.
- Maurice R. Gryp, 47, Abingdon, was charged with Class 3 felony meth possession under 5 grams and misdemeanor theft under $500.
- Carranza A. Howell, 36, Galesburg, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft under $300.
- Jazzmand J. Martin, 43, Galesburg, was charged with misdemeanor theft under $500.
- Mandi R. Oeth, 45, Galesburg, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft under $300.
- Rodney D. Smith, 63, Galesburg, was charged with misdemeanor theft under $500.
- Ryan E. Sullivan, 39, Galesburg, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor criminal trespass.
- Britney D. Swanson, 38, Galesburg, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft under $300.
- Adam H. Wagner, 47, Galesburg, was charged with Class 4 felony domestic battery causing bodily harm and misdemeanor domestic battery causing bodily harm and criminal trespass.
- Robert L. Wesley, 44, Peoria, was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass.
Dispositions
Tuesday, Sept. 2
- Gloria R. Cordova, 25, Galesburg, had charges of Class 1 felony unlawful vehicular invasion; Class 3 felony aggravated battery in a public place; and Class 4 felony mob action dismissed.
- John J. Curtis, 64, Galesburg, had charges of Class X felony meth delivery between 15-100 grams and Class 1 felony meth possession between 15-100 grams dropped.
Wednesday, Sept. 3
- Quennel T. Augusta, 49, Galesburg, was sentenced to 16 years in prison on a Class X felony charge of manufacture/delivery of cocaine between 15-100 grams and 5 years in prison on a Class 2 felony charge of meth delivery under 5 grams. The sentences will be served concurrently and Augusta will be credited for 214 days. Augusta pleaded guilty Feb. 19.
- Jessica L. Long, 35, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DUI/alcohol and was sentenced to 24 months’ probation, 240 hours of community service and fined.
- Kennedy A. Owens, 27, Galesburg, had charges of misdemeanor domestic battery causing bodily harm and interfering with a report of domestic violence dropped.
- Nila M. Purifoy, 30, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DUI/BAC .08 and was sentenced to 2 years’ court supervision and fined. Charges of misdemeanor criminal trespass, resisting an officer, DUI/alcohol and domestic battery/physical contact were dismissed.
Thursday, Sept. 4
- Nathan J. Nicholson, 37, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery/physical contact. A charge of Class 2 felony aggravated battery to a peace officer was dismissed.
- Matthew K. Price, 46, Galesburg, had a charge of misdemeanor domestic battery/physical contact dropped.
- Jonathan W. Straughter, 33, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to Class 2 felony failure to report a crash with injury and was sentenced to 180 days in jail/203 days credit and 2 years’ conditional discharge. Charges of Class 2 felony possession of a stolen vehicle and criminal sexual assault; Class 4 felony crash causing injury and aggravated fleeing; misdemeanor DUI/alcohol, unlawful possession of cannabis, domestic battery causing bodily harm and driving on a suspended license were dropped.
Friday, Sept. 5
- Colin J. Anderson, 19, Cedar Lake, Indiana, had charges of misdemeanor DUI/alcohol and DUI/BAC .08 dropped.
- George K. Johnson, 26, Galva, had a charge of misdemeanor DUI/alcohol dropped.
- Travis S. Peel, 26, Galesburg, had a charge of misdemeanor domestic battery causing bodily harm dropped.
- Lane T.R. Peterson, 27, Galesburg, had a charge of misdemeanor theft under $500 dropped.
- Lindsey J. Rossell, 34, Galesburg, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DUI/BAC .08 and was sentenced to 2 years’ court supervision and fined. Charges of misdemeanor allowing child truancy, child endangerment and DUI/alcohol were dismissed.
