GALESBURG, Ill. — Bridgeway has appointed longtime team member Staci Danner as its new chief executive officer, effective Oct. 1.
She succeeds Bill Nelson, who retired after 37 years of service, including a decade as CEO. Danner has spent more than 26 years with the organization, most recently serving as chief financial officer.
Danner said her early priorities include reinforcing Bridgeway’s long-standing focus on people and transparency. She outlined four guiding principles she plans to emphasize: keeping people first, strengthening communication and listening, following through on feedback, and fostering growth and leadership at every level.
Bridgeway leaders also said they are expanding efforts to support emotional well-being among staff, working with outside experts to turn employee feedback into lasting systems of support and change.
“Bridgeway’s future is rooted in its people,” the organization said in a statement. “And together, with Staci’s leadership, we look forward with pride, optimism, and possibility.”
Bridgeway provides behavioral health, employment, and community services across west-central Illinois.
