Led by Aidan Nelson’s second-place finish and two more top-five performances, Galesburg won the 51st annual Streaks Boys Golf Invitational by one stroke over Quincy Notre Dame on Sept. 27 at Bunker Links Municipal Golf Course in Galesburg.

“It was a great day for the Streaks boys golf team as we had four players with personal records to take first place overall and were honored with four of the top 10 golfers of the invite,” Galesburg boys coach Mark Harden said. “The regionals will be at Macomb Country Club this Wednesday.”
Cole Furrow and Colin Archer each shot 74 to tie for fourth. Tyler Robinson placed eighth with a 76.
