Boys Soccer

Galesburg at Abingdon-Avon — Sept. 18
Ian Rivera scored two goals and Michi Flores added a third as Galesburg shut out Abingdon-Avon 3-0 in a nonconference match. Goalie Jordan Courter and the defense posted the shutout.

Limestone at Galesburg — Sept. 20
Limestone scored three goals in each half to defeat the Silver Streaks 6-1. Galesburg is now 0-3 in the Western Big Six Conference and 3-6-1 overall.

Iron Invite — Sept. 20, Normal Community High
Lily Furrow won the 50-yard freestyle and took second in the 100-yard butterfly, leading Galesburg to fourth place overall.

Macie Nelson finished second in the 500 freestyle, Hayden Johnson was second in the 100 breaststroke and the 200 freestyle relay team (Johnson, Faith Warren, Furrow, Nelson) also placed second.
