Sunshine greeted participants and onlookers during Galesburg High School’s annual homecoming parade Sept. 12 in downtown Galesburg.

Sports teams, cheerleaders, the marching band, floats and candy-tossers made their way down Cherry Street Friday afternoon.

The parade was part of a series of events the school provided to celebrate its 2025 homecoming that also included a Powder Puff football game, and freshman and varsity football games.
